Classes offered through the Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures (LL&C) and the Department of Spanish Language, Literary & Cultural Studies (SLLCS) are only open to enrolled students.
If you are a currently enrolled undergraduate, you may register for our classes during your standard registration period. Please keep in mind that you may need to take a placement test if you have already studied the language that you are enrolling in.
If you are a community member (non-enrolled), a high school student, or a graduate student, there may be options for you to take DU language courses as well. Please see our articles on those topics.

If you would like to enroll at DU to study with one of our departments, visit the Office of Admission at https://www.du.edu/admission-aid. Many different options are available for enrollment depending on your situation, including special status enrollment for those not seeking degrees. The Admissions staff can help you decide which option is best for you.
The Center for World Languages and Cultures provides some alternate options for language instruction for non-enrolled students – please email them (cwlc@du.edu) or visit their website for more details.
