It is common to have issues enrolling in language courses. This is because your placement test score must be added to the system in order to override the prerequisites for any course above the 1001 level. If you were late taking a placement test, or if somehow your score upload was not finalized, you will receive an error stating that you do not have the necessary prerequisites. Should you receive this error, please contact the Center for World Languages and Cultures (cwlc@du.edu) to ensure that your score gets uploaded to the system. If you are in a rush to register and receive this error, you may also provide proof of your placement score directly to the instructor of the course you wish to enroll in, and they may provide an override at their discretion. However, even if receiving an override, it is critical to ensure that your placement score is eventually corrected in the system.
